How to play Colors

Rebuild a color from your mind's eye and get it as close as you can. Three rounds, one score.

  • Each round, dial a color with three bars: hue (which color), vividness (how strong) and lightness (how light or dark), then lock it in
  • Every round asks for the color a different way: shown for 5 seconds then hidden, a thing you know the color of, two paints mixed, a color's opposite, or one color on two backgrounds
  • Your color meets the real one, split top and bottom, with an honest match percentage
  • No clock

Scoring

  • Each round pays up to 100 points for how close you land. A near miss still banks most of them; a color that is simply wrong pays nothing, whatever its match says
  • Your three rounds add up to one total out of 300. Finishing earns Yay; 150 points for Jam, 210 for Cat and 261 for Wow

Tips

  • Nail the hue first, then fix the vividness and lightness
  • Some rounds only flash the color for a few seconds, so look closely
